I’ve created this space for both ladies and gents, not writing as a person who is already perfected, but as a person who is most certainly not. My prayer for you when you connect here is that you would feel a sense of peace and calmness in the midst of the hurried world around you, that you would capture an overwhelming hope for your future. If God can do it for me, he can do it for you! He can take our messes and turn them into miracle messages for someone else. It is my mission to help you see yourself through God’s eyes. I believe by developing and cultivating a Christ-Centered healthy spirit, soul, and body, you will become all that God has created and wants you to be. I pray that throughout our time together, your soul will be refreshed every time you visit here, that you will find your true reflection in the mirror of God’s Word, and that you might gain the clarity and the courage to step into your divine purpose. We each possess the power to change a life, so let’s use our words to speak life, truth, and love to all, especially to ourselves.

We don’t have to be perfect to be a blessing. We are asked only to be real, trusting in his perfection to cover our imperfection, knowing that one day we will finally be all that Christ saved us for and wants us to be.

What you’ll find in our blogs

I wouldn’t have had much to say before April of 2014, or at least I didn’t recognize that I had something to say until then, but God got my attention in a big way that year. He opened my eyes to possibilities that I only dreamed about and gave me a fresh vision for my future. Most of my life I let fear and insecurities paralyze me, and it kept me stuck between the fear of failure and the fear of success, the fear of being in relationships and the fear of loneliness, the fear of being unattractive and the fear of being attractive, among other things. Throughout the blog, I share my personal challenges and victories, revealing the ah-ha moments that led to breakthroughs in my life, and will hopefully and prayerfully help you navigate some of the messiness we all find ourselves in from time to time. The awesome thing to remember is, that those unpleasant adventures and messes have a way of leading us to our best self and often help us reach our highest potential. Take a peek here at my very first blog post to read about how I almost let fear, perfectionism, and my own thinking keep me from pursuing my dream of bringing this website to life.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgement and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

What you can expect to find in our resources

Books have been an integral part of my healing, the Bible being the greatest of them all! But many others have impacted me greatly, most of which are displayed on the resources page, in faith that they will help you make the transformation as well. Immersing myself in books gave me knowledge, taking me from a place where I continuously fought food addictions and self-image issues, to accessing the freedom to make wise, healthy food and life choices. That intentional effort helped lead me to a balanced place where I could love myself, just as I am right now, not who I compared myself with and wished I could be. Do I still have moments where my thoughts drift to those unhealthy mindsets, yes, but I’m aware of it now and purposefully refocus my mind to what is true about me. The trick is, really learning what is true about ourselves. One of the most valuable insights I’ve acquired through my struggles is learning that to love yourself in your present state is the only pathway that leads to loving your future self. This action holds the key to you and me fulfilling our purpose, unlocking the door to our destiny. Once we get that revelation, the veil is removed, allowing us to see our future more clearly.

Treat yourself as if you already are who you’d like to become.
